Karnataka State Pollution Control board : suo motu case has been registered
Bangalore : Pursuant to numerous complaints received by this institution pertaining to dereliction of duty, maladministration, corruption, nepotism and similar illegal activities, a suo motu case has been registered against the officials/officers of Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB), Bengaluru.
Today, Hon’ble Lokayukta has formed 27 teams including judicial officers and police officers and issued search warrants for conducting search and seizure. The inspection shall begin at 12.45 p.m. simultaneously in different locations.
Hon’ble Lokayukta Sri Justice B.S.Patil will be visiting the head office of KSPCB situated at M.G.Road which houses the offices of Member Secretary and other offices. Nine offices will be inspected in the building.
Hon’ble Upalokayukta Sri Justice B.Veerappa will be visiting the Regional Office of KSPCB located at Shivanagar/Basaveshwarnagar along with a team comprising judicial officers and police officers. Searches will be conducted at 13 offices in the location.
Another team headed by Sri Subramanyeshwar Rao, IGP, Karnataka Lokayukta, Bengaluru, will be visiting the Regional Office of KSPCB located at Peenya Industrial Estate, Bengaluru along with a team of judicial officers and police officers. Searches will be conducted at 5 offices in the location.
